The 5th annual Queenstown Egg-Tappin’ Competition will take place Saturday, March 31st at noon at the Queenstown Playground on Old Wharf Lane.

All are invited to come and anyone 8 years or older can participate.

Bring an unpeeled hard boiled chicken egg to enter the competition and try for the winner’s prize, a free chicken dinner!

The Queenstown Commissioners, at the recommendation of the Planning Commission, appointed Loretta Hohmann and Perry Stutman to the Planning Commission to fill two recent vacancies.  Ms. Hohmann and Mr. Stutman will fill out the remainder of the terms of their predecessors.  We welcome them aboard and look forward to working with them!

  • Beginning October 1, 2017, the Queenstown Commissioners will hold one regular meeting per month on the 4th Wednesday at 7:00 p.m.
  • Should any additional meetings be required, such as public hearings, workshops, etc., adequate notice will be posted.

  • Attached is the plan for the proposed Skipjack Grove park, which the Town has been approved grant funding for in the amount of $120,000 from the State of Maryland, Dept.
